2025年2月27日-28日のボルドー公演、3月2日-3日に予定されておりましたパリ公演に関して、久石譲は体調不良のため出演することができなくなりました。当公演は主催者側の判断により、代役の指揮者により実施されます。
久石は現在、来月の東京およびロッテルダムでの公演に向けて療養中です。

チェコ語で「青春」を意味し、レオシュ・ヤナーチェクの木管六重奏曲のタイトルから引用された「Mládí」。北野武監督による映画『菊次郎の夏』『HANA-BI』『キッズ・リターン』への提供曲３曲から構成される本作品が、ウィーン交響楽団との録音により、久石譲74歳の誕生日である12月6日に12インチEPおよびデジタル版にて発売となります。
また、10月24日には「Summer」の先行配信および限定アナログ盤の予約受付を開始。

To all Joe’s dear fans, We are truly sorry that Joe Hisaishi is not able to go to France this time. Hisaishi and Wonder City had hoped to postpone the concert, but due to the organizers’ decision, a substitute conductor had to be appointed. Hisaishi has never performed with the orchestra, nor does he know the conductor, however, he hopes that the performance will go well. Still, he is deeply regretful and saddened that he cannot conduct the European premiere of his new work, Harp Concerto, himself. That said, we expect the organizers to take full responsibility and respond sincerely to both the performers and the audience. He is in the process of rehabilitation, aiming to conduct the concerts in Tokyo and in Rotterdam next month. Joe is very much looking forward to meeting all of you. Wonder City Inc. -

Recorded as part of the hugely successful collaboration with the Wiener Symphoniker that began with Hisaishi’s acclaimed debut at the Vienna Musikverein in March 2023, Mládí will be released digitally and as a 12-inch EP (on egg yolk blue vinyl) to mark Hisaishi’s 74th birthday on 6 December 2024. A taster track and limited-edition vinyl pre-orders will be available from 24 October. Written for piano and strings, Mládí sees Hisaishi take on the soloist’s role, directing the players of the Wiener Symphoniker from the keyboard. The suite is made up of three excerpts from his soundtracks for films written and directed by Takeshi Kitano. Its opening movement, “Summer”, is taken from the 1999 road movie Kikujiro, “HANA-BI” comes from the 1997 crime thriller of the same name (also released as Fireworks), and the suite ends with the title track from Kitano’s 1996 coming-of-age story “Kids Return”.
