作曲家 久石譲と株式会社ワンダーシティは、久石による楽曲に関して、正規の手続きがなされていない利用や編曲は一切許可をいたしません。
現在、許可なく久石の楽曲を編曲し利用する催しが世界各地で多数行われています。無断で久石の楽曲を編曲することは作曲家の著作権および著作者人格権の侵害にあたり、断じて認められるものではありません。なお、公演名に久石の名を冠し、久石本人が関わる演奏会であると多くの方に受け取られかねないものも見受けられますが、当方ではこれらについても承認しておりません。
私たちはここに、作曲家の正式な許諾を得て著作権法に則った楽曲利用がなされることの重要性を訴えます。楽曲の利用者と著作権者の双方が合意した条件のもと、楽曲が正当に利用されることを強く求めます。

久石譲がロイヤル・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団（RPO）の Composer-in-Association に就任しました。
この任命はドイツ・グラモフォンからリリースされたアルバム「A Symphonic Celebration」での共演の成功を受けたもので、2024年４月６日からの３年間の任期中には、新作の委嘱、ロンドンおよび世界各地での公演、スタジオレコーディング、新デジタル技術を用いたRPOのプロジェクトへの久石の参加等が予定されています。
今週末にパリで開催されるコンサートには37,000人以上が来場予定、さらに今年11月のロイヤル・アルバート・ホールでの演奏会は既に完売となるなど、素晴らしい幕開けを迎えるロイヤル・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団と久石の今後のパートナーシップにご期待ください。

久石譲のドイツ・グラモフォン第２弾アルバムは、クラシック作曲家及び指揮者としての研ぎ澄まされた技巧と感性に焦点を当てたクラシック作品集。
2021年に京都で初演された「Symphony No. 2」は本人指揮によりウィーン交響楽団とウィーン楽友協会で世界初録音。
そしてこちらも世界初録音となる「Viola Saga」は著名なヴィオラ・ソリスト、アントワン・タメスティをフィーチャー。
今作のリード・トラックでもあり、2022年の日本での初演時から評価の高い楽曲となっている。2024年6月28日にCD、レコード（LP2枚組）、デジタルそれぞれで発売されるのに先立ち、リード・トラックである「Viola Saga: Movement 2」が先行デジタル配信となっている。

Composer Joe Hisaishi and Wonder City Inc. do not permit any unauthorized use or arrangement of Hisaishi's music without proper procedures. You must apply to a copyright management organization to use music, and it is required to obtain official permission from the composer to arrange his music. Currently, we can find many concerts around the world that arrange and use Hisaishi's music without permission. Arranging his music without permission is a violation of the composer's copyright and moral rights, and is totally unacceptable. Additionally, there are some concerts that include Hisaishi's name in the title, which could be interpreted by many people as concerts involving Hisaishi himself, but they are not approved by us. We urge all users of Hisaishi's works to obtain formal permission from the composer and adhere to copyright laws. We hope that Hisaishi's music will be used more widely and fairly under mutually agreed conditions between users and copyright holders. Wonder City inc. -

Joe Hisaishi has been appointed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) as its Composer-in- Association, with effect from 6 April 2024. The appointment follows a successful collaboration on the ‘Symphonic Celebration’ album released on the Deutsche Grammophon label, after which the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra invited Joe Hisaishi to become its Composer-in-Association. The three-year appointment will include new commissions for the RPO, concerts in London and around the world, studio recordings as well as Maestro Hisaishi’s involvement in new digital and technology based RPO projects. The coming together of Joe Hisaishi and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra marks the start of a very special partnership. This weekend’s RPO concerts with Joe Hisaishi in Paris have sold more than 37,000 tickets and the RPO/Hisaishi Royal Albert Hall concerts later this year have already sold out. Joe Hisaishi's second Deutsche Grammophon album is a collection of classical works that focuses on his finely honed technique and sensitivity as a classical composer and conductor. “Symphony No. 2”, which premiered in Kyoto in 2021, was recorded for the first time in the world by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Musikverein, conducted by him. "Viola Saga", which is also the world's first recording, features renowned viola soloist Antoine Tamesti. It is also the lead track of this work, and has been highly acclaimed since its premiere in Japan in 2022.
